Censored????....I had a letter here addressed to MP Kelly Block in response to a question (s) she mailed out to her constituents, including me. But, I had to remove the letter because someone in congregation did not agree with me and / or did not think it my place to respond to our Member of Parliament in such a political way. If a minister of a Christian church cannot respond to questions put on them by local politicians or anyone, then how can they walk in Jesus way? Did not Jesus engage in political discourse every time he answered questions put to him by local government officials and religious leaders. Jesus would take sides as well. Always he was on God's side, who we know had a "preferential option for the poor." I think that Jesus would also respond to questions about God's Creation and humanities treatment of Earth and the life upon it, with the same candor and ethically, based reasoning, befitting a Child of God. Something to think about.
